Tamra Judge is an actress and producer, best known for Erasing Family (2020), Fiber One: Work Done (2019) and The Real Housewives of Orange County (2006). Tamra appeared on RHOC for twelve seasons from 2006 to 2020, but was fired as a cast member and departed before the 15th season. However, Tamra will appear as a cast member in the upcoming 17th Season of RHOC, making her the first housewife to be fired and return.

8 A Wild Ride

Tamra had appeared on RHOC since the show's premieer, but departed after being demoted from the role of a Housewife, to a Friend of the Housewives. After leaving RHOC, Tamra said, “It’s been a wild ride, and after all these years, I’m looking forward to life away from the cameras. I was offered a chance to come back to the show in a limited role, but would prefer to walk away on my own terms.”

7 Family & Fans

Tamra shared her excitement about experiencing life with her family off camera in several posts on Instagram. She shared a photo of herself and her husband captioned, “Eddie and the kids are very excited." She also shared another sentimental post saying, “I want to thank all the fans who have offered me their support over the years… It’s meant a lot." She concluded with, “I’m sad to go but I’m very excited about my future.”

6 Confronting Andy Cohen

Upon being fired, Tamra unfollowed her former boss of the time, Andy Cohen, and confronted him live about being fired over her high salary expectations. Tamra said, “I’m not cheap Andy, and that’s why I got fired!” Andy agreed and referred to Vicki Gunvalson, who was also fired from RHOC. Tamra responded, “All the time, daily. I said, ‘There is no one I would rather be going through this than you. We’re talking this through.”

5 The Grieving Process

During her confrontation with Andy Cohen on Instagram Live, Tamra revealed experiencing sadness and having a difficult time since being fired from RHOC. On departing from the series, Tamra explained, “It’s kind of like a death. I’ve been in the Bravo family for 12 years. I’m a red-headed stepchild now. It is what it is. It’s a very long run… I’ve been crying for three days. I haven’t slept or eaten. But I’ll be alright.”

4 The Judge Is Back

In July 2022, Tamra announced her return to RHOC during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, saying, "The judge is back and drama is in session." On receiving an invitation to return to RHOC, Tamra said, "[They said], 'Hey, we want to meet with you.' And I was like, 'What the f---? Really? This is happening?'" Tamra said that a "totally different perspective" made her feel "1,000 percent more energized".

3 BravoCon 2022

At BravoCon 2022, Tamra revealed how she feels about returning to the show and shared the range of emotions she has experienced since being fired. While on the panel of "Bravo, Bravo, F---ing Bravo", Tamra explained her shock by saying, "I was like, 'Oh s---.' Like, really? This is happening?" She continued by explaining how happy she is to return, and said, "Of course I wanted it! I still don't know why I was fired!"

2 BravoCon Panel

On the BravoCon panel, Tamra shared her feelings during the aftermath of being fired from RHOC. She said, "I got to a state where, the first year, I was in a fetal position crying… I was very sad about not being on the scene, everybody filming and all that stuff." She also revealed what helped distract herself was launching her podcast Two T's in a Pod, and the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club.

On returning, Tamra said, "It all just happened so quick… I'm here, what, three months into filming and like, 'OMG I got asked back.' It still hasn't sunk in… Nobody really gave me a hard time when I came back. I gave everybody a f---ing hard time, but everybody was super nice to me… I was like, 'Why? You danced on my grave when I was gone. And now you're being nice to me? Why?'"
