For the past week, the internet has been abuzz with theories and questions about Princess Kate’s whereabouts (and frankly, we can’t stop thinking about it ourselves). But cousins Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie managed to take our attention away from #KateGate this afternoon, when they had a sweet and stylish cousin moment at the Cheltenham Festival in Gloucestershire.
The British royals certainly know a thing or two about dressing for a horse-racing event, and Tindall and Eugenie pulled out all the stops for their visit to the Cheltenham Racecourse. In one photo, the two looked like the chummiest of cousins as they smiled with their arms wrapped around each other.

For Tindall’s part, she wore a navy blue pantsuit with subtle vermillion stitching that formed stripes going down the blazer and pants. Underneath the double-breasted blazer, the royal sported a burgundy mock-neck top that perfectly matched her beret-style fascinator (decorated with an oversize bow). Finally, the equestrian athlete accessorized with royal-blue pumps and black leather gloves, and carried a croc-embossed top-handle bag with hints of crimson and black.
In a tonally opposite outfit, Princess Eugenie wore a dazzling white trench coat, which she belted across the waist over her sandy knit sweater dress. To match the outerwear, the princess added a snowy fedora up top, which featured a thin brown leather band across the bottom of the crown. In an effort to keep the neutrals going, she added a pair of slouchy caramel boots and touted a champagne-colored bag with a golden top handle.
Tindall and Eugenie weren’t the only royals who stopped by the Cheltenham Festival today. The pair were accompanied by their husbands, Mike Tindall and Jack Brooksbank, and Queen Camilla and Princess Anne were also in attendance.
